Permaculture Growers Co-op: Small Farms Feeding Bloomington

Welcome to the Bloomington Growers Co-op.

If you grow organically within 30-50 miles of Bloomington you are welcome to join our group.
Read over the site so that you understand how this marketing system can work for you. We do charge an annual fee of $10 (which we can deduct from your sales) as well as 5% of your overall sales (to cover web management, promotion, and market management). Like at a traditional farmers’ market, you do get to set your own prices and list your items as you wish. Contact keith@permacultureactivist.net if you want more information.*

The nation, as a whole, needs another 50-100 million new farmers / growers to supply the growing demands for local foods that will arise as Peak Oil transforms the way we grow and acquire our sustenance.

We will all soon not be able to afford to the high costs associated with conventional growing, processing, packaging and shipping of food and material goods. We must Relocalize*

our economics, trade, and transport and get good at it BEFORE we are in extreme crisis.*
