Chili Lime Popcorn

Serves: Makes about six cups


Ingredients
2 Tbls Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup white popcorn
2 Tbls grassfed butter
1 Tbls Chili powder
Zest of one lime
1 Tsp. Salt

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Place 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a high sided pan. Set heat to medium high to melt the oil. As oil melts add 1/4 cup popcorn to oil. Cover with lid. When the kernels begin to pop, shake the pan lightly to prevent scorching.
  2. When popping is almost complete remove pan from the stove and let rest 30 seconds before removing the lid. Pour popcorn into a large bowl.
  3. Place butter, chili powder salt and lime zest in a small microwave safe container. Microwave for 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir. pour over popcorn and stir or shake to coat evenly. Enjoy!
