Finnish Cucumber Salad

<p>This tasty dish is always a favorite at the meetings of the Jackson (Michigan) Scandinavian-American Society.</p>

Serves: 6-8


Ingredients
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
2 T. fresh dill (or 1 T. dried dillweed)
1 T. sugar
2 T. white vinegar
2 T. mild oil, such as canola
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
4 cups peeled, thinly sliced cucumbers

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Mix all the dressing ingredients together, and gently fold in the cucumbers. Chill at least 3 hours to develop the flavors before serving the salad.
