Braised Oxtail

Ingredients
1 tablespoon Oil
3 pounds Oxtail
1 pound Small potatoes
3 medium sized Carrots
1 medium sized Onion
2 tablespoons Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
3 Bay leaves
4 cups Water or beef broth
Bread for serving

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and chop up the onions, carrots, and potatoes. Set them aside.
  2. Preheat a Dutch oven with oil on high heat, then brown the oxtails on all sides. Add the salt, pepper, vegetables, and bay leaves to the Dutch oven.
  3. Add the water or broth (whichever one you choose), and stir the ingredients together. Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and put it into the oven to bake for at least 2 hours.
  4. Serve with bread.
