Creamy Collard Greens

Ingredients
2-3 Slices
bacon, chopped
1 lb
collard greens, chopped
4-5
green onions or 1 medium onion, chopped
1 pint
chicken or vegetable broth/stock
1 cup
sour cream
1 small bunch
cilantro (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Step by Step Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the bacon and chopped onion over medium-high heat, 2-3 minutes.
- Add the collard greens and cook until wilted, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Add the sour cream and cilantro while briefly re-warming and stirring the mixture. Add more sour cream if you want it creamier.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
