Stuffed Winter Squash

Serves: 6-10


Ingredients
3 ea Squash- Sweet dumpling, potato or acorn
3 ea Ontario apples
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds. Place squash face-down in baking dish with about ½ inch water. Bake until tender about 30 minutes.
  2. Fill with the following stuffing or create a new one of your own and finish baking as directed: Apple Stuffing: 2-3 tart apples, diced ¼ cup maple syrup ¼ cup butter, melted Combine.
  3. Stuff into squash, cover and bake at 375F for 30 min.
